Juanita Conley

Juanita J. Conley, 85, of Hixson went to be with the Lord, Friday, Jan. 24, 2014. She was born Feb. 6, 1928 in Chattanooga, a daughter of Walter F. and Hazel Coffelt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Claude Conley. Mrs. Conley was a member of Hixson First Baptist Church for over 60 years. She taught Sunday School and loved to sing in the choir. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include children, Edwin (Alice) Conley, Beverly Ogle, Ronnie Conley, Terry (Diane) Conley and Debbie Evans; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the Chapel of Devotion in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Shannon officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. today.
