Jennie Senay Carson, 90, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at Hospice of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Carson; daughter, Louise Carson Farrar; son, James W. Carson; parents, Joseph and Sophie Senay; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Ida Joyce Carson, of East Ridge; son-in-law, Marvin Farrar, of Dalton; grandchildren, Jennifer Farrar Burch and husband, Toby, of Dalton, Cindi Scott and husband, Michael, of Trenton; great-grandchildren, Evan Burch, Luke Burch; great-great-grandchildren, Nina Scott; niece, Helen Green, of Massachusetts. The graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Carson will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Lomenick Cemetery in East Ridge.
