William Howard "Bill" Morton, 49, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was owner of Howard Morton Construction, Inc., Chattanooga, and was member of Slygo Valley Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Howard Morton; brother, Jerry Howard Morton. He was survived by his loving family: wife, Tracie Morton; daughter, Christie (Josh) Morrow; mother, Helen Morton; sisters, Teresa (Freeman) Harmon and Martha (Phil) Wold; son, Yellow Lab "Blue" Morton; and granddog, Elli Morrow; a host of friends. Funeral services will be held, 1 p.m. EDT Thursday, July 3, 2014, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Bobby House officiating and Brother Dallas Walker, obituary reading. Interment will be held in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Tuder, Sammy Morton, Joe Morton, Steve McKaig and Ronnie McKaig. Pallbearers will be Stevie Harmon, Dan " The Booz" Harmon, Todd Bell, Warren Langley, Dale Tuder and Curtis Utz.
