Helen Honeycutt Helen Schuur Honeycutt, 87, of East Brainerd, died on Monday, June 30, 2014. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, she was a member of Silverdale Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Volunteer Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. (Bud) Honeycutt Jr.; parents, John and Evelyn Hedrick; sister, Betty Blanton and brother, John Hedrick Jr. Survivors are her daughters, Deanna (Wayde) Shelton, Trenton, Ga., and Darlene (Dale) Wilson, Rossville; five grandchildren, Eddie and Brad Moyer, Shanee Pope, Brandon Brown and Heather Witherow; several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, in the chapel with Brother Larry Hedrick officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Eddie Moyer, Brady Moyer, Brandon Brown, Chris Gentry, Larry Honeycutt and Jerry Honeycutt serving as pallbearers.
