Barbara Ann Englerth

Barbara Ann Englerth, 82, Chattanooga, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in a local health care center. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Englerth was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church. Her passion was taking care of children, which led to her working with various church-operated daycare programs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Englerth Sr., and son, Andy Englerth. Survivors are her daughter, Cindy Dupree, Harrison; and son, William M. Englerth Jr., Dalton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Mackenzie Englerth, Madison Englerth, Emma Englerth, Kathleen Dupree, Parker Englerth and Lauren Dupree; sister, Carol Varner, Chattanooga. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 4, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Dr. Gary Carver officiating. Memorial contributions ay be made to the American Cancer Society.
