Brittney Flippo

Brittney Paige Flippo, 28, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, due to complications from surgery. She was born on July 14, 1985, in Bakewell to Larry Joe Flippo and Wendy Lynn Blevins. She attended Sale Creek High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Flippo and Doris Flippo; along with a cousin, Garren Flippo. Brittney leaves behind to cherish her heart of gold and kindness to her three children, Brianna White, Ethan White and Allison Levi; father, Larry Flippo, all of Sale Creek; mother, Wendy Blevins of Graysville, Tenn.; the man of her life, fianc Joe Keith of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Bryan Flippo of Chattanooga and Bradley Dunn of Dayton; grandparents, Carolyn Iles and Tom Iles of Dayton. She also leaves behind four special aunts, Carrie Porter, Alisa Price, Sandy Riley and Beverly Knox; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Brittney will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, and 1-3 p.m. Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A funeral service for Brittney will follow at 3 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
