Glenda King

Glenda King, 80, Harrison, died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at a healthcare facility in Chattanooga. She was born March 15, 1934, to Robert and Gladys (Speakman) Runkle in Oklahoma City, Okla. Glenda graduated from Fort Scott, Kan., High School and attended Nevada Vocational School in Nevada, Mo. She loved her family and friends at the Colony Plaza. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Frank Hooper; brother, Robert F. Runkle; and daughter, Kimmy King. Survivors: daughters, Cheryl King-Bishop (Mike), Belton, Mo., Lori Kelly (Lawrence R.), St. Louis, and Wendy Tobler (Dean), Harrison; grandchildren, Cory Kelly, Zachary Kelly (Lacy) and Airiana Kelly; and a great-granddaughter, Chloee Kelly. Mrs. King was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. A celebration of life was held at her home in Harrison on Saturday, July 5. Online guestbook and obituary at www.missouricremation.com.
