Christina Cobb

Willie Christina Fuget Cobb, of Chattanooga, departed peacefully from this life on Friday, July 11, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born in Jasper, Tenn., and lived in Chattanooga. She worked at Sewing and Sales in Chattanooga for over 25 years until retirement. She was also a faithful member of New Bethel FBH Church in Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Milton Cobb Jr.; mother, Mrs. Hattie B. Fuget; father, Tommy Lee Fuget Sr.; and brother, Tommy Lee Fuget Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Micheal (Tina) Cobb, of Chattanooga, Edward (Gaylene) Cobb , of Jasper, Tenn., and Harold (Priscilla) Cobb of East Ridge; one daughter, Tina L. Cobb, of Chattanooga; two sisters, Thelma Thurman, of Chicago, and Joann Fuget Williams, of Jasper, Tenn.; one sister-in-law, Clara Hale; and one aunt, Ella Bell Yancey, of Jasper; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews and relatives and many friends. She also leaves a close and dear friend of the family Cassandra McClure. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at noon CDT on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, with officiating Pastor Sherine Tillman and Elder Glenn B. Taylor. Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. CDT today, July 15, 2014.
