Mickey ONeal

Ohio Jay M. "Mickey" ONeal, 62, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014. Born in Canton, Ohio, he lived in the Akron, Ohio area and Chattanooga, most of his life and was owner of Pro Wire & Sound. Mickey was also a Music Pastor and was known as an accomplished vocalist. He attended Grace Bible Church, Portage Community Chapel and Grace Baptist Church (Tennessee). Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen ONeal; and sister, Delphene Reigle. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Cheryl; sons, Lammoth ONeal, of Fayetteville, N.C. and Josh (Jessica) Selden, of Portage Lakes, Ohio; daughters, Jaymeca ONeal, of Chattanooga, and Jessica (Scott) Hosfeld, of Green, Ohio; ten grandchildren; brother, Joe (Kay) ONeal, of Farmington, N.M. and Ken (Marilyn) of Illinois; sisters, Ruth (Tom) Rauber, of Suffield, Ohio and Dolly Robinson, of Rootstown, Ohio. Mickeys family would like to thank Dr. Roger Chaffee for his many years of devoted care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, OH 44312, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Barry Shehan officiating.
