Ruth Citty

Ruth Agee Citty, 87, of East Ridge, passed this life on Saturday, May 24, 2014. She was of Baptist faith and retired as a Hamilton County school patrol lady where she worked many years. She was American Legion Post 95 Auxiliary president in 1966-1973. While living in Fort Myers, Fla., she was American Veterans Auxiliary secretary in 1978-1979 and president in 1980-1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Citty; and son, Charles Citty. Survivors include granddaughter, Chastity (Chris) Fryar, of Ooltewah; and two great-grandchildren that she dearly loved, Chandler and Chase. There will not be any visitation. A Memorial graveside service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 4, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Billy Dean officiating.
