Linda Mason

Linda Hill Mason, 71, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. Linda graduated from Norview High School in Norfolk, Va., Edmondson Business College and attended the University of Chattanooga. She was employed with Purse Advertising, Arthur Anderson and Company and Girls Preparatory School. Linda was a member of First-Centenary United Methodist Church and the Morgan Sunday School Class. She was a volunteer at Wally's Friends in Red Bank and the Tennessee Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. She was preceded in death by her father, Lt. Colonel David A. Hill, Jr. Linda is survived by her mother, Clara Goodwin Hill Elliott; husband, C. Lee Mason; brother, Steve (Vicki) Hill; sister, Sally (Richard) Varner; daughter-in-law, Victoria Mason; grandson, Benjamin Mason; nieces, Katy Harmon, Laura Brady and Carrie Hill; nephew Matt Varner; three great nieces and one great nephew; aunts, uncles, cousins and a dear friend, Karen Stage. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today and noon-1 p.m. on Monday, June 2 at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel. A memorial service for Linda will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. David Harr officiating. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Memorial Hixson for their love and care given to Linda.
