Buddy Greene

Earl Edward "Buddy" Greene, 72, passed away, Monday, June 2, 2014. He retired from the Chattanooga Electric Power Board after 29 years of service and was the owner of Greene's Tree Trimming Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Quintus Stuart Greene Sr., a sister, Mary Jane Greene; and great-grandchildren, Savannah and Riley Lewis. Mr. Greene is survived by his wife, Linda Ladd Greene; son, John Edward Greene, Lookout Valley; daughter, Carla Jane Durham, New Hope; grandson, Aaron Durham, Jasper; granddaughters, Amanda Greene McCord, Sequatchie, Jessica Taff, South Pittsburg, Taylor and Isabella Greene, Lookout Valley; great-grandchildren Caleb Lewis, Madelyn McCord and Wrenna Taff. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday, June 4, 2014, with Rev. John Potts and Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. CDT, today, June 3, 2014, and from 1 p.m. until time of the service on Wednesday.
