Marvin Dyer

LaFAYETTE Marvin Dyer, 76, died Monday, May 2, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife, Lana June "Neak" Wallin Dyer. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, James and Angie Dyer, Johnny Dyer, and Steven and Marci Dyer, all of Dalton; sisters, Ethel Key, and Bonnie Mashburn, both of Blue Ridge, Ga.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Service at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Center Point Cemetery in Dalton, Ga., with Rev. Matt Futch officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, of LaFayette.
