Lucille Turman

Lucille Trammel Turman, 87, died Thursday, June 5, 2014. She was a member of Naomi Baptist Church for 65 years. Mrs. Turman was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lena Skates Trammel; her husband, Douglas "Doug" Turman; and brothers, Frank, and Sammy Ray Trammel. Mrs. Turman is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry (Renee) Turman; two grandchildren and their spouse, Christy (Matthew) Kinsey, and Casey Turman; and two great-grandchildren, Zoe Kinsey, and Alexis Kinsey. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral is Monday, June 9, from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Funeral to be officiated by Rev. Garland Hullender. Active pallbearers will be Corey Angland, Gary Brooks, Rickey Morrision, Jeff Hill, Travis Houser, and Ron Bennett. Interment to be in LaFayette Cemetery. Visitation to be today, June 8, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
