Christopher Watt

Christopher Watt, 57, of Chattanooga passed Tuesday, May 27, 2014, in a local hospital. He attended Kirkman and Tyner High Schools also went to the Job Corps in 1977. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and trained in the Navy Seal program. Chris was preceded in death by grandparents, Clara Tate Hayes and William Hayes, Ella Watt and Philip Watt; brother, Roland Watt; uncles, Bartholomew Hayes, Lenox Franklin Hayes, William Hayes Jr.,Theddeus Hayes, Johnny Leo Hayes, Harold Davis and Johnny Edward Watt; aunts, Rebecca Davis, Cherrie Wilkerson, Mary Lloyd and Evelyn Watt; sister-in-law, Tamara Ingrid Waller Watt. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Lamika Nicole Ball; granddaughter, Jordyn Mathis; mother, Peggy Joyce Hayes Watt; father, Charles Henry Waft Sr.; brothers, Charles Henry Waft Jr., Michael Watt and Ronald Watt; sisters-in-laws, Diana Watt and Wanda Watt. Funeral is Monday, June 9, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Minister Clayton Hayes officiating. Burial follows in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The body will lie in state today from 2-7 p.m., with family hour from 6-7.
