Bunny McCallie

Bunny Angela McCallie, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. She was born in Walker County, Ga., to the late Ernest and Velma McCallie but had lived in the Jacksonville, Fla. for more than 35 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was employed with BlueCross BlueShield of Florida for more than 20 years as a Financial Advisor and she loved sewing and spending time with family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Michelle Leverett; and brother, Edward McCallie. Survivors include three brothers, Tom McCallie, of Chattanooga, Jay McCallie, of Tallahassee, Fla., and Robert McCallie, of Jacksonville, Fla.; sister, Diane Thomas, of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Tiffaney Leverett and Joanie Leverett; special friend and cousin, Sandra Little and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, in Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brent Smith officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
