Jerri Lowarance

Jeritza "Jerri" Lowrance, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Lowrance; granddaughter, Valerie Q. Fisher; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Gwendolyn (Richard) Quinn, Douglasville, Ga.; three grandchildren, Rick (Karla) Quinn, Jeff (Julie) Quinn and Katie Quinn (David) Woo; grandson-in-law, Jason Fisher; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lois M. Smyre, Sevierville, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. John Andrus officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
