Wilroy Anderson

Wilroy Moss Anderson, 86, died Thursday, June 26, 2014, at his home following a brief illness. The son of the late Willard Roy and Mary Louise Moss Anderson, he was a lifelong farmer and a faithful member of Havrons Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sandra Riley Anderson and one brother, Clifford Anderson. He is survived by his children, Steve (Veronica) Anderson of Houston, Texas, Jennifer (Ray) Durham of Jasper, W. Scott Anderson of North Chattanooga, and Jonathan Anderson of Jasper; sister, Virginia Kirchhoff of Jefferson City, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Anderson of Houston and Annabelle Anderson of Seattle, Wash. The family would like to give special thanks to Mr. Andersons caregivers, Kim Sloan and Helen Durham. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. CDT today at Havrons Chapel United Methodist Church, 3267 Shellmound Road, Jasper, Tenn., with Rev. Jim Diehl officiating.
