Nan Baker

Mary Catherine "Nan" Baker, 72, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. She was a member of the LaFayette Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Burton and Pauline Baker. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanie (Tim) Lowe, of Carrollton, Ga., Rita (Scott) Howard, Chickamauga; and a daughter, Anita Lambert, of Villa Rica, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, Perry (Andrea) Johnson, of LaFayette; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma (Cecil) Daniels, of Chickamauga, and Ellsie (Benny) Colley, of Henagar, Ala.; two brothers and sister-in-laws, George (Marilyn) Baker, of LaFayette, and Glenn (Barbara) Baker, of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren, Kaitlin and Hannah Lowe; Eric, Tyler, and Robert Johnson; Rhett, and Liam Hayes; Annabelle Lambert; and Jeremy, and Will Howard. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, from the Wallis Memorial Chapel, with the service conducted by Minister Aaron Pope. Interment to follow in LaFayette Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today, June 30. WallisWilbanks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
