Edural Walker Sr.

Edural Lee Walker Sr., 72, of Ooltewah, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Central High School and retired from St. Barnabas Nursing Home as maintenance director. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Gartrell Knight Walker; sister, Reba Jo Wade. He is survived by three sons, Eddie Lee (Malinda) Walker, Tony (Amy) Walker and Darrell (Chris) Walker; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; Alice Walker Scott, mother of his sons; and longtime fiance, Gail Brown. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. today, March 1, at the Highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home or you may visit the online guestbook at www.turnerfamilyfuneralhome.com. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor, Jerry Yother officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East with Tim and Gene Wade, Peter Camilleri, sons, Eddie Lee and Tony Walker serving as pallbearers.
