Frona Blakenship

Frona "Bobbye" Marie Baxter Blankenship, 72 passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and was of the Christian faith. Bobbye was a graduate of Ringgold High School class of 1959. She enjoyed visiting new places and was an avid book reader with a thirst for learning. Bobbye also enjoyed painting and researching history and the arts. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her family and will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Charles "Tommy" Thomas Blankenship; parents, Lewis Grey and Faye Marie Mann Baxter; and brother, Thomas Don Baxter. Bobbye is survived by her children, Lisa (John) Prutsman, of Shawnee, KS, Sara Gillian, of Tunnel Hill, Ga., and Regina D'uva, of Cherry Hill, N.J.; grandchildren, April Gillian, Paul Prutsman, Lee Prutsman, Nick Prutsman, Sebastian D'uva and Julina D'uva; great-grandchild, Nathan Lee Ott; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Old Anderson Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart
