Betty Sarensen

Betty Sarensen, 95, of Murphysboro, Ill., passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her daughter's home in Chattanooga. She was surrounded by her loving family. Betty loved Murphysboro and her little Church on Walnut Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Sarensen. Survivors include her daughter, Ann (Bill) Rees; grandchildren, William Rees, Jr. and his fianc, Amber Few; Megan Ann (Tim) Clark; great-grandchildren, Everleigh Ann Clark and Neva Elizabeth Rees; one brother, Joseph Barth, of Portland, Maine. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. C.S.T., Monday, March 10, 2014, in Tower Grove Cemetery in Murphysboro, Illinois. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.
