Walter Templeton

Walter "Walt" Jesse Templeton, 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was born in Chattanooga to the late Kenneth and Majel Silvey Templeton and was of the Christian Faith. He was a L.F.O. class of 1978 graduate, a member of N.S.S. Caving Club and a member of the Sierra Club. Walt has lived in Union Grove for the past 12 years, where he was employed by the Colsa Corporation as a Sr. Software Testing Engineer. Walt is survived by his children, Adam Templeton, of Chattanooga and Emily Templeton, of Chattanooga; sister, Karen Ackerly, of Ringgold; and three nieces. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Greg Nash officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service on Friday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
