Lena Wise

Lena P. Kitchens Wise, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in a local healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Ida Wilson; husband, MC Wise; daughter, Mary Kitchens; sisters, Willie Mae Williams, Hattie White, and Daisy Mills; brother, Herbert Wilson. Survivors include daughters, Mamie Redmond, Bonnie (Gerald) McKissic, Annie "lee lee" Kitchens, and Beverly (Alboan) Glass; son, Willie (Barbara) Kitchens Jr.; brother, Hubert Wilson; devoted nieces, Maggie Jacks and Ella Whatley; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 6-7 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with Pastor Lurone Jennings Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
