Sandra Sims

Sandra Ann Sims, 63, of Chattanooga, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in a local hospital. Sandra was born in Lake Charles, La., but had lived in Chattanooga most of her life and was manager of Xerox Corporation. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a daughter of the late Wesley and Rena Lambert Brown. Survivors include her husband, Glenn D. Sims; two sons, Gerald (Tami) Sims, La Vergne, Tenn.; Christopher (Lacey) Sims, Chattanooga; brother, Wesley Brown Jr. Houston, Texas; sister, Susan (Danny) Barron, Lake Charles, La.; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Father Charlie Burton officiating. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today with a Rosary service conducted by Father David Carter at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 7315 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814.
