Marcia Frazier

Marcia J. Frazier, 64, of Ringgold, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was born Nov. 6, 1949 in Ringgold to the late Clarence Edward and Alma Ruth Benton. Marcia received her associate degree in Child Development from Chattanooga State Community College and was a beloved teacher for many years at Ridgedale Baptist Church. She faithfully attended New Haven Baptist Church with her daughter and grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Winston, of Ringgold and Tracey (Chris) Rose, of Birchwood; grandchildren, Allison Winston, Dakota Rose, Natalie Winston, and Dalton Rose; sisters, Sharon Thomas, of Ooltewah; Carla Bomar, of Ringgold; brother, Robert Benton, of Ringgold; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at in the East Brainerd Chapel with the Rev. Robert K. Schrader officiating. Burial will follow at Dailey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to send a sincere thanks to the nurses at Parkside Nursing Home and to Life Choice Hospice of LaFayette for the care you provided our mother.
