Benard Baggett

Benard Stevenson Baggett, 76, went to join the angels in heaven on Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. He was a painter for the majority of his life and was a member of the Painters Union Local #226 in Chattanooga for more than 15 years. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Clara Baggett. Survivors include his children, Rick Norris, Tim Baggett, Sharon Stephens, Gregory Baggett and Ben Baggett; sister, Joy Cheatwood, all of North Georgia; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
