Lynda Newton

Lynda Ryon Newton, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was of the Baptist faith and was a faithful employee of Provident Life and Accident Insurance Company for almost 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James C. Ryon II and Mable Davis Ryon. Survivors include her husband, Donald Newton; daughter, Terri Creek Dial and her husband, Travis; grandchildren, Langan Creek, Madeline Creek, Alyssa Dial, Dylan Dial and Lila Dial; brother, James C. Ryon III and his wife Rosa. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
