Mary Claiborne

Mary Elizabeth Claiborne, 90, of Chattanooga went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born in Birmingham, Ala., as the oldest daughter to Clarence and Opal Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Smith Claiborne; and a son, Michael "Mickey" Claiborne; grandsons, Dirk and Lance Holland. Survivors include daughter, Cynthia Holland, of Dandridge; son, Terry (Charlotte) Claiborne, of Chattanooga; son, Bruce Claiborne (Anne), of Dandridge, Tenn.; daughter, Suzanne (Sid) Henry, of Chattanooga; son, Brent Claiborne, of Dallas, Texas; 19 grandchildren, Kevin Holland, Dawn Holland, Rocky Holland, Mickey Claiborne, Eric Claiborne, Kristi Weaver, Stephanie Claiborne, Shelly Dearing, Heath Claiborne, Slade Claiborne, Summer Smith, Ty Claiborne, Shea Long, Blair Baldwin, Heather Kinsey, Lacey Henry and Nolan Claiborne; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon CDT on Saturday, March 29, with funeral services to follow in the funeral home chapel at noon with Rev.
