Phillip Sivley

Phillip Wayne Sivley, 78, of Ooltewah, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at his home. He was the son of the late Leroy and Lydia Sivley and was preceded in death by his two sons, Phillip Wayne Sivley Jr., Troy Lee Sivley; and seven siblings, Richard, Larry, Gwendolyn, Joyce, Nadine, Barbara Jo and Doris. Phillip was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from Mueller Co. in Chattanooga after 41 years of service. He was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church of God. Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Sarah Sivley, of Ooltewah; daughter, Kimberly Jackson, of Ringgold, Ga.; stepdaughter, Angela (David) Billings, of Frankfort, Ky.; seven grandchildren, Christy, Cody, Christian, Jonathan, Makala, Donovan, Alexys; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Kesley and the Rev. Eddie Kesley officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with military rites being conducted at the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 58 p.m. today and from noon1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
