Sharon Quarles

Sharon "Sue" Quarles, 77, died at home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Ms. Quarles was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Hoid "Buddy" Quarles; her father, John E. Patton Sr.; her mother, Mildred McGhee Patton; her brothers, John E. Jr., James H. and I. Edward "Eddie" Patton. She is survived by seven children, Kay Grider-Riley, Rockford, Tenn., Judy Zimmerman, Sioux Falls, S.D., Randy Teague, Pikeville, Tenn., Steve Quarles, Deerfield Beach, Fla., Jimmy Teague, Cary, N.C., Suzette Moffatt, Auburndale, Fla., and Stacy Howard, Ooltewah; three brothers, James W. Patton, Graysville, Tenn., Sam H. Patton, Chattanooga, and Don J. Patton, Albuquerque, N.M.; her sister, Wanda Spencer, Cleveland, Tenn.; and one uncle, Gene McGhee, Harlem, Ga.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Sutton, officiating.
