Jayson Jones

James Jayson Jones, 36, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a graduate of Lakeview High School Class of 96. He was a very intelligent young man, who was always putting others needs before his own. He had a passion for art and music and enjoyed spending time outside and enjoying nature. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his children and even in his death Jaysons life continues to help others in need through organ donation. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Ann Frazier; and his grandparents, Clyde and Joan Jones and Carl and Charlotte Vaughn. Survivors include his wife, Zillie Jones, of Fort Oglethorpe; two children, Izabella Jones, of Chattanooga, and Malachi Jones, of Ringgold, Ga.; father, Pete Jones, of Fort Oglethorpe; sister, Jacinda Brooks of Chattanooga; aunt, Randie Skiles (Ron); uncle, Devan (Cheryl) Jones; special friend, Heather Scheer; and numerous extended family. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Minister Ronald Ragon officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
