Johnny Lavern Pittman, 49, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Dora Holland, Virgil and Marilda Pittman. Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Carl Cecil Pittman, of Whitwell, Martha Holland Pittman, of Sequatchie; son, Johnny Wayne (Tracey) Lockhart Pittman, of Chickamauga, Ga.; sister, Sandy (Jimmy) Nance; brothers, David Pittman, Steve Pittman, Darrell (Debbie) Pittman, all of Whitwell; grandchild, Keaton; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., CST, today, May, 5, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., CST, Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rab Ramsey officiating.
