Luevina Rollins

Luevina Rollins, 92, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer. She was born in Coalmont on Aug. 7, 1921, to Theo and Liza Meeks Sanders who preceded her in death along with her husband, Walter "Smokey" Rollins; sons, Bobby Howell and Jimmy Wade Rollins; sister, Elvenia Johnson; son-in-law Bobby Joe Morrison. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Morrison, Fairmount, Ind.; adopted son, Jimmy Rollins; daughter-in-law, Donna Rollins; sisters, Jimmie Lee (Preston) Dishroon and Glenna Layne; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister David Scissom officiating with burial to follow in Palmer Cemetery.
