Jeanette Sayre

Jeanette E. Sayre, 89, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Consultant Health Care. Jeanette retired from Erlanger Hospital after working there for 20 years. She loved her work and the people she worked with. Jeanette also loved family and God. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved younger brother, J.O. Pell. Preceded in death by mother, Lala Eugenia Scoggins. Survivors, daughters, Donna Lynne Sayre and Sandra Banks (Paul); son, Frank L. Sayre (Dana); sister, Ruth Black (Robert); brother-in-law, Jay McFalls; sister-in-law, Joyce Kelley; aunt, Lola Mae Anderson; nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Latonia "Dee" Jones. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday at Burt chapel, Fort Payne with Chris Huntington officiating. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation 2-7 p.m. today at Burt chapel, Fort Payne.
