Estella Kinser

Estella Kinser, of Chattanooga, Tenn. passed away on Thursday, May 08, 2014 at her home. She was 94 years old. Estella was born and raised in Smithville, Tenn. and has been a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area. She worked at Fowler Furniture. Estella was a member of White Oak Baptist Church for over 56 years. She served as a volunteer for Red Cross for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Elmo Kinser; her parents, two sisters and a brother. Estella is survived by her son, Dr. Davis K. (Mary) Cope, of Fargo, N.D.; step son, Jack (Jean) Kinser, of Chattanooga; step grandson, Tom (Tisherrie) Kinser, of Chattanooga; her special friends, Steve, Stacy, Jake and Sydney Seeger, Mary Ruth Barker and lifelong friend, Bea Johnson. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. today, May 12 and again from 12-1 p.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel. A funeral service for Estella will follow at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with her pastor Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at Hamby Haven at Hamilton for their love and care. Katy, Margaret, Ernestine and Felicia will hold her in their loving memories.
