Jackie Banther

Jackie Lee Banther, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed wood-working, and all the outdoors, including gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jessie Banther; eight brothers; and one sister. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Banther; daughter, Lori Banther; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Becky Banther; sister, Esther Hayes; three grandchildren, Jimmy, Josh and Jase Warnock; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. EDT Saturday May 24, 2014, in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Marion Banther and Brother Brad Bridges officiating. Burial will be held in Mountainview Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-9 p.m. EDT today and noon-1 p.m. EDT Saturday.
