ez Presentacion D. Fernandez, 77, of East Ridge, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014. Mrs. Fernandez was born in the Philippines to Sulficio and Fanfila Dejano. She was of the catholic faith and was the co-owner and operator of Fernandez Store in Samboan, Cebu, Philippines and retired as an associate at T. J. Maxx in Chattanooga. Surviving are her eight children, Beth (Harold "Pete" ) Muegge, of Chattanooga, Jean "Juana" (Gene) Meyer, of Chattanooga, Janeth (Paul) Ledee, of Chattanooga, Peter Harry "Bingboy" (Floramae) Fernandez, of the Philippines, Caroline (Eduardo) Ocat of the Philippines, Ana Liezl Fernandez, of the Philippines, James Kenneth (Kim Jehan Uy) Fernandez, of the Philippines and Chattanooga, and Precy Marie Fernandez, of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren including Christine (Alexis) Muegge Macias and Christopher Muegge; two great-granddaughters, Arianna and Khloe Macias; and brother, Honorato Dejano, of California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Pedro Bilocura Fernandez; son, Richard Fernandez; her parents. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home with a 5 p.m. Rosary Service. A Christian Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mike Cresson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
