Walter Stubblefield

Walter N. Stubblefield, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was a retired employee for the South Pittsburg Knitting Mill and a veteran of the Tennessee National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Price Stubblefield; and parents, Harvey and Etta Steele Stubblefield He is survived by his brother, James Stubblefield; sisters, Mary Thomas and Jennie Akin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 23, 2015, with Brother Steve Middleton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
