Lillie Caldwell

Mrs. Lillie Mae Caldwell, 88, passed away April 22, 2015, at the home of her son in Manchester with her family near. She was a member of First Baptist Church at Gruetli-Laager and operated Caldwell's Service Station in Coalmont. She was preceded in death at a young age by her husband and Carolyns father, Robert Eugene "Bobby" Sweeton and later married Ronald's father William Howard "Soll" Caldwell who also preceded her in death along with her parents, John William and Maggie Sweeton Sanders; brothers, Willie Carl and James E. "Sham" Sanders. She is survived by her son and his wife, Ronald B. and Jan Caldwell, of Manchester; daughter and her husband, Carolyn and Norman "June Bug" Meeks; brother, Suel Sanders; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Cary Gomer and Bob Ruehling officiating with burial to follow in Coalmont Cemetery.
