Thomas Allen Jr CHICKAMAUGA Thomas David Allen Jr., died Monday, March 9, 2015, at Erlanger hospital. He was of the Methodist faith. He loved to fish, hunt, trap, and was a great outdoorsman. He was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Navy, joining at the age of 17. He worked as a machinist/Inspector for the Koehring Southern Company in Chattanooga, and had a custom cabinet business that he ran from his workshop. He loved his family and God dearly, and could brighten up a room with his smile and quick wit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas David Allen Sr. and Winifred Elizabeth Dorsey Allen; wife, Annie Ruth Dennis Allen; two sisters, Mary Jane Campbell and Margaret Frances Roberts; and son, Steven Wayne Allen. He is survived by two children, Renee (Rusty) Wyatt of Chickamauga, and David (Debbie) Allen, of Torrance, Calif.; one sister, Joann Stansberry, of Chattanooga Valley, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Allen, of Chickamauga; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Interment was held at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Tuesday March 17, at 11:30 a.m.
