Wanda Layne

Wanda Lee Layne, 82, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Gene Layne; parents, Paul and Rosa Hatfield; sister, Juanita Rogers; brother, Steve Hatfield. Those left to cherish her memories are four children, Stephen (Bonnie Shealy) Layne, of Prosperity, S.C., Sherrie (Jim) Alford, of Hixson, Scott Layne, of Whitwell, Angela Marsh, of Knoxville; sisters, Wilma Sitz, Wilene Basham, Carol Green, Nancy May; brother, William "Randy" Hatfield; five grandchildren, Bret Alford, Kyle (Michaiah) Alford, Ryan (Katie) Layne, Makena Marsh, Olivia Marsh; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today, April 28, 2015. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Basham and Rev. James Basham officiating. Interment at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
