Jeanne Landfried

Dorothy Jeanne Landfried, 87, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, in Mount Pleasant, S.C. She was born Dec. 30, 1927, in Cross Hands, Wales, to the late Harry and Dorothy Culliford. She was employed with Ohio Edison for several years. Jeanne was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church and served on Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Landfried. She is survived by her son, Eric (Tonya) Landfried; grandchildren, Logan and Abby Landfried, all of Mount Pleasant; sisters, Molly (Charles) Francis, Silver Spring, Md., and Dulcie Moore, Sparta, Ga. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today and noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A celebration of life service for Jeanne will follow at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Jeannes name to the American Red Cross of Southeast Tennessee, 4115 S.
