Pat Brogdon

Patricia Ann Brogdon, 75, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. She was a life-long resident of North Georgia. She was a life-long member of Victory Baptist Church and a member of the Huskey Bible Class, where she was faithful to help cook and prepare meals and enjoyed taking care of the nursery. Ms. Pat loved going with the seniors saints on trips. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by Griff and Callie Ellis; stepmother, Ella Ellis; brothers, Sam Ellis, Joe Ellis, Ed Ellis and Clifford Ellis; sisters, Helen Chastain and Thelma Jackson; and her loving husband, Charles Brogdon. Survivors include daughter, Carrie (Mike) Johnson; sisters, Carol Darling, Denver, Colo., and Minnie Lou "Lucy" Caheely, LaFayette; and grandchildren, Gunnar Hamill, Gavin Hamill and Grayden Johnson. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ernest Groce officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
