Timothy Wilson

Timothy Darrell Wilson, 54, met his Heavenly Father on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, after more than a five-year battle with cancer. Wilson is survived by his wife, Doris Wilson, of Athens; and three daughters: Brandi Wilson White, of Arlington, Va., Britney Wilson, of Athens; and Courtney Watson, of Lebanon, Tenn.; and sons-in-law, Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" White and Chris Watson. Wilson is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Thomas Jefferson "Jay" White, Graham Wilson White, and Catherine Hope Watson. Wilson is also survived by his mother, Eva Ledford; and brothers, Tony Wilson and Gary Wilson, all of Athens. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Laura Jack. Wilson was a life-long resident of Athens and an employee of Thomas and Betts for more than 30 years. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, from 5 until 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home in Etowah, Tenn.
