Dollie Patterson

Dollie D. Patterson, 85, formerly of Chattanooga, passed in Atlanta on March 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Patterson Sr.; daughter, Marilyn Patterson; parents, Byron and Bertha McClure; brothers, R.L. and Byron McClure II; sisters, Rita McClure and Jeannette Ward. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted son, Elmer D. (Pearl) Patterson Jr.; three grandchildren, Shallonda, Marilyn and Anthony Patterson; three great-grandchildren, Shanique, DOnte and DVaughn Patterson; three great-great-grandchildren, Aabiyah, Shauntese and DOnte Patterson; and a host of nieces and nephews of Cartersville, Ga. and cousins and other relatives and friends. Pastor Elijah Collins Jr. will be conducting the funeral service at Cleages AME Zion Church at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015. Burial: Chattanooga National Cemetery. The body will lie in state from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday.
