Frances Golec

Frances Monica Golec, 68, of Soddy-Daisy, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 22, 2015. Frances was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church where she directed the choir at Saturday evening mass. Frances was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Frances was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amy Sue and by her son-in-law, Richard Janes. Frances is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald V. Golec; daughters, Sandra Gamino, Veronica Janes, and Barbara Golec; sons, Ronald and wife Shirley Golec and Raymond Golec; and Godson Thomas McDonald. A visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 10768 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy. A funeral mass will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will take place in Cary, Ill.
