Chuck Griffin

Charles Hoyt Griffin, 81, of Hixson, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, in a local hospital. Mr. Griffin was retired from TVA with 32 years of service and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Lavern Griffin; son, Chuck (Jill) Griffin, Knoxville; three daughters, Linda (Rodney) Tabor, Knoxville, Karen (Andy) Cox, Susan (Todd) Hodge, both of Soddy-Daisy; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today, March 28, 2015, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Amy Nutt officiating. There will be no visitation.
