Mike Fuller

Roy "Mike" Alec Fuller, 70 of Ooltewah, died on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. He graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School with Honors and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Roy served in the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam, achieving the rank of Captain at the time of his discharge. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Roy had lived in the North Georgia area, serving on the Walker County School Board and was a major contributor to the Fuller Cancer Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. He was a leader in the Medical Equipment Industry, serving the southeast for over 20 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Lelia "Gaye" Fuller; sons, Michael James (Shelli) Fuller and Carter Douglas (Tera) Fuller; daughter, Sarah Gayle (Brent) Beasley; grandchildren, Brandi Nichole Fuller, Ashley Dawn Fuller, Haley Fuller, Jacob Fuller, Emily Beasley, Noah Fuller, Jordan Fuller, Hedi Beasley and Caroline Fuller; great-grandchildren, Alexander Fuller, Chloe Fuller, Issabella Fuller and Sophia Fuller; brothers, Mark (Donna) Fuller and Tim (Beth) Fuller; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mark Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Leukemia Association.
