Marie Hullender

Marie J. Hullender, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015. A lifelong resident of Ringgold, she was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Carter and Bertha Parson Carter; brothers, R.C. Carter, James Carter, Robert Carter; sisters, Fanny White, Betty White, and Farris Parsons. Survivors include her loving husband of over 63 years, James Hullender; children, Joan (David) Denton of Ringgold, Randall Hullender of Ringgold; sister, Martha Carter, of Ringgold; grandchildren, Aaron, Kevin and Adam; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Sam Dillard officiating.
